System requirements for running the demo
BlackMagic DeckLink SP or better
Windows XP on PC with Pentium4 and 512Mb of RAM
PCI Express graphics card, minimum NVIDIA GeForce 6200

This link points to zip archive containing some of the VGX modules and DeckLink driver.

VGX Demo download

- Download to some folder for ex. C:\Render and unzip.
- Make sure no other application is using your DeckLink card.
- Start the DeckLink driver named “BD Render Server.exe”. A new icon will appear in the tray, similar to picture below:

- Switching to PAL or NTSC or other settings is by right-button mouse click on icon in the tray:


- Start the gfx designer “VGX Draw.exe”, draw some graphics, and press Enter from numeric keyboard to render to DeckLink. The command is the same by pressing the Render button from the Render menu in the top-right position of the program. From the same menu you can choose different layer for graphics output.

- To clear the output graphics on the selected layer, press “-“ from the numeric keyboard, or select command Clear from the Render menu.

- Experiment with text, crawls, bitmaps and other graphics objects, to feel the power behind the VGX. Enjoy!
